Project eknaw saylenshu by pearl black
I do spend a lot of time browsing modding forums, so it's unusual when I don't recognise a forum name. When I clicked on this build I recognised the work immediately, though, and it all fit into place. This is built by Filipino modder Homer, otherwise known as 'pearl black'. Once again he has shown off some excellent modding skills. It will be interesting to see the final images of this build, as at the time of writing it isn't finished yet. You can see this build log on the

Again, it looks like the Cooler Master MasterCase 5 is the case of choice for pearl black.

Some rather interesting cable work is seen throughout this build, which is something I really like to see.

Cable sleeving seems to be a bit of a dying art nowadays. People seem to be buying pre-braided cables more and more. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, as the quality of factory braided cables has increased exponentially over the last few years, and it does save hours of work. I just think custom cables look far better.

It is nice to see that not all builds are liquid-cooled. In this build, pearl black has gone for air cooling.

There has been some excellent acrylic work done, something I always appreciate seeing even if it is not what I would ever personally do.

After spraying the acrylic, you get a striking effect. The Cooler Master logo is proudly shown along with the MSI logo.

This picture I have taken from pearl black's social media - the perks of having a lot of contacts is seeing some things early. I am really interested in seeing what the finished product is going to be like with this one, especially from the other side of the build.
We are coming close to the end of our little look at some of the mods that are taking part in the Cooler Master Case Mod World Series 2017 competition. The final build we are going to look at is
